The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has officially opened online applications for admission to the Post Basic B.Sc. JKBOPEE Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Domicile Requirement: Applicants must be domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh. Candidates from Ladakh can submit their ST certificate as a domicile proof.
2. Educational Qualification:
   • Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
   • Completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as an R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with the J&K Nursing Council.
   • Male nurses trained before the introduction of the integrated course must provide evidence of approved alternative training (e.g., OT Techniques, Psychiatric Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing, etc.).
3. Final Year Candidates: Those currently appearing for the final semester of GNM can also apply, provided they submit their final marks card at the time of admission.
4. Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically fit.

Application Fee & How to Apply

• Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Payable online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking).
• Application Mode: Online via www.jkbopee.gov.in.
• Steps to Apply:
  1. Visit the JKBOPEE website.
  2. Download and read the e-Information Brochure carefully.
  3. Register and fill out the application form.
  4. Upload scanned copies of required documents.
  5. Pay the fee and submit the form.
  6. Take a printout for future reference.

Documents Required for Application

While filling out the application form, candidates must upload the following scanned documents in PDF format (100-200 KB size):

• Domicile Certificate (For Ladakh candidates, ST certificate can be used).
• 10+2 Marksheet.
• GNM Marksheets (All semesters/years).
• J&K Paramedical Council Registration Certificate.
• Valid Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).
• Any other document required by the authorities.
