JKBOPEE BSc Nursing 2025: Admission, Eligibility, and Online Application Process

Are you aspiring to pursue B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, or B.Sc. Technology in Jammu & Kashmir? The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has officially released Notification No. 031-BOPEE of 2025 dated March 17, 2025, inviting online applications for these courses in Government and Private Colleges of UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing Programme

Candidates applying for B.Sc. Nursing must fulfill the following:

• Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh (ST certificate issued by Ladakh authority is considered as domicile proof).
• Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2025; Maximum 35 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.
  • Minimum Marks:
    • 45% for Open Merit (OM) candidates.
    • 40% for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA).
  • Candidates from State Open School/National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are eligible if they have studied Science and English.
• Medical Fitness: Required.
• Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in 12th exams in 2025 can apply but must submit their passing certificate at the time of admission.

B. Eligibility for B.Sc. Paramedical Courses

Candidates applying for B.Sc. Paramedical must:

• Be domicile of J&K or Ladakh.
• Be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025 (Max: 35 years).
• Have passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCB & English.
• Be medically fit.
• Appearing candidates in 12th exams 2025 can apply but must submit certificates at admission.
• Lateral Entry: Candidates must have a Diploma in the concerned stream and 10+2 with PCB, with their diploma registered with the J&K Para-Medical/Nursing Council.

C. Eligibility for B.Sc. Technology Courses (SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar)

• Domicile: J&K or Ladakh (ST certificate for Ladakh residents is valid as domicile proof).
• Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2025.
• Education:
  • Passed 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English.
  • Minimum Marks:
    • 50% for Open Merit.
    • 40% for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA).
• Medical Fitness: Required.
• Appearing Candidates: Eligible but must submit passing certificate at admission.

How to Apply for JKBOPEE BSc Nursing 2025?

Candidates must fill out the Online Application Form at www.jkbopee.gov.in and upload the required documents.

1. Domicile Certificate (J&K/Ladakh ST certificate as domicile proof).
2. 12th Mark Sheet (if available).
3. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Certificate).
4. Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).
